I Don’t Sell, I Don’t Convince | 4 Bits for MLM Fanatics

Ok here we go.

If you don’t expose at least 1 person a day to your opportunity by watching a video,  a presentation, or attending a seminar, it could (what the hell, it WILL) take years to make money from your primary biz. opp.

Of course affiliate commissions can roll in, but you know it’s not where the money is, right?

MLM

Profit Producing Activities

Ask at least 2-3 people each and every day if they are open to a side project (your primary opportunity.)  Let them know it doesn’t interfere with what they are currently doing.

If they say “no” (trust me you will hear the word “no” more than “yes”, but it’s a number’s game after all.) Ask them whether they know somebody who would be interested? And here is a tip: You have to adopt the mindset that you don’t give a rat’s ass whether they are interested or not.

You do NOT try to Sell Anything or Convince Anybody.. This is important, SO GET THIS!!!

Content Creation

I already touched on this subject in another post about Gary Vaynerchuk – Leave my blog alone!

Here is your one key element: Create one piece of content every single day.  It can be a blog post, a video, a podcast, a webinar or an article…etc.  Be consistent.

You don’t have time? Here is the solution ======> Make time! Get real! Seriously! How bad do you want it?

Work on Your Marketing

By far the best tool that I have found is MLSP  also called, My Lead System Pro. They have EVERYTHING that has to do with marketing (YEP, online and offline.) This system has it all and I stand by it. MLSP will save you time, money, and countless struggles. (30 min.)

Work on Your Closing

You gotta know how to close. There are several techniques, one of them is called “mastering questions”. There is a course that I highly recommend called Master Sponsoring Series created by Ray Higdon. (30 min.)

Work on Your Mindset

Read personal development books.  Pick a time like each night before going to bed.  Read and absorb the information, so you fall asleep with empowering thoughts. (30 min.)

If you want to go hardcore multiply the numbers above by at least 2.  That’s going to give you a killer strategy.

You may look at this routine and quickly feel overwhelmed. Let me help you get out of it.

Remember: You don’t have to know it ALL!

- ALL the techy stuff

- ALL about the company you represent

- ALL the marketing stuff

If you want to start making money…. Do NOT wait to get started. I urge you to go out and start doing this routine pronto.

Just Follow the Routine!

    Home run, Akos!

Far too many people think all they have to do is join a company and forget about getting into action!

You said it, Akos! Action breeds results. Without action, it’s just a hobby. And I love what you said about adopting the mindset of “not giving a rat’s ass” about what others think or say. One of my favorite quotes: “Some will, some won’t, so what? Someone’s waiting!” Thanks for the thoughts!

      Hey Jess,

      Sweet quote.
Thinking about what people think or say is crippling so I choose not to worry about that. Besides it’s impossible to please everybody so why bother. :)

      thank you for the feedback

Atkos! I couldn’t agree with you more. Consistent Action every day is the only way to do business. I am a follower of Gary Vaynerchuck for a while now. I like his style and respect his wisdom.
He is a straight shooter and so are you. Your blog is right to the point with no fluff. Great information Atkos.
    Thank you,

Yep, without action not much happens. :)
Gary is awesome. Some say he’s really “in your face” type of dude, but at least he’s shaking up people from the dream state, right?
Thanks Donna for the support and the added value.

We can’t please everybody nor should we. Instead, we gotta talk about our views that we truly believe in, without wanting to get some extra Facebook likes :)

Persist like heck in applying these strategies and prosper like a champ.

great article Akos – thanks – one thing I would argue with after listening to Tony Robbins its about ‘connecting’ with your prospect..not just ‘closing’…but great value here – thanks for sharing ;) )

    • Akos Fintor Says:

      Hey Helen,

You’re right. Establishing relationships with prospects is crucial. I prefer a prospect to do the closing – meaning it has to be their idea to join my business otherwise sooner or later the “buyer’s remorse” sets in and they will surely drop out.

      Tony is awesome

      thanks for the feedback, Helen

        Hello Akos,

I like what you said about prospects doing the closing. These are the ones who will tend to be self motivated and stick around even during the toughest of times.

Your post is great. Thank you for sharing this valuable information.

        Best regards,
        Ruthida.

It’s gotta be their own idea and choice otherwise weeks after joining the “buyer’s remorse” sets in and they panic and leave.

I, in fact did enjoy your article.

One thing though. Being consistent on content creation doesn’t have to be on an everyday basis. As long as you stick to a plan and follow through every week on it, then that’s consistency.

I like How you said, never try to sell or convince anyone! Ain’t goin’ to happen. Don’t work. Marketing is so important.

    Love the image, man :D

You’re absolutely right, Samuel. Content creation does not have to be on daily basis; but for network marketers who really want to make things happen in months. (downline and cash flow in months).

      thanks for the feedback!

    I like the routine, Akos.

What I like best about it is that it IS “a routine”.

You don’t have to do things right, but you DO have to DO them. Daily, consistently … without fail.

That’s how to succeed. No shortcuts.

    Hi, Akos,

    Great content and insights!

Make time! You are spot on, Akos! We all have the same 24 hours a day. Need results? Make time!

For our friends who have a full time job, it is easy to make excuses. However, you can make excuses OR money but NOT BOTH.

Wisely design a daily plan as you suggested is a sure way to win. Even for beginners in Network Marketing, the numbers will compensate for the relatively lack in skills for inviting or closing.

Keep up the good work, Akos :)

    Some thought provoking tips, Akos..

I think many of us get caught with either being ” Too cautious ” and not wanting to push the “hard sell” mind set onto people…or we probably do the opposite, and hit people so hard with our sales pitch, it leaves a bad impression…

We end up going nowhere with the first path, as it lacks the impetus to push us onwards and upwards….the second option could bring better results, though, may burn our reputation in the process….

An approach that may work best(just my opinion)…would be a balanced approach..

Or, by being assertive, so both parties gain something from the encounter….and we’re not trying to climb all over the person to make a sale……

The way I look at it this whole pitching business is that I’m not afraid to tell anybody what I’m doing, because I really don’t care whether they join or not. I got so many no’s that I became immune to to “thumbs downs” :) People saying no to me just can’t bring me down. :)

thanx Danny for the awesome feedback…….again.
