Network marketing is about implementing personal development ideas. Period.

Why would I say that?

Well, mainly because as you probably know network marketing is NOT about a company or a particular product but it’s about the network, it is a people business after all.

You, see in network marketing, people don’t join people but people join people. It is about attraction.

When you pitch your business opportunity to somebody, that person doesn’t really listen to what you’re saying but they are pay attention to YOU. How you talk, how you carry yourself, how you present yourself. They are asking questions from themselves: Do I want to be associated with this guy? Would I want to come out the way he does? Do I want to have what he has (money, car, lifestyle …etc)?

So they evaluate YOU, are you “attractive” enough for them to really listen to you and really ponder on joining  you in your business opportunity.

So the question is: “How do YOU become more attractive? (from a business viewpoint)

The answer is simple but it is not easy to do and your attraction makeover won’t happen overnight.

It is personal development. Or even better; it is  implementing personal development ideas.

As Jim Rohn, one of the greatest business philosopher of all time said it best: “Work harder on yourself than on your business.”  He knew that in network marketing and actually in any other business it is crucial to become more valuable. That is the key to success.

So, how one goes about becoming more valuable through the use of personal development ideas?

I give you some of my personal development ideas here without being too complicated or going too deep into the subject.

• Read 30 minutes a day. Not just about anything! But personal development, self help books. (books on law of attraction, network marketing, seo, social media, or  Success Magazine would be a prime example.
• Listen to audio programs in your car. (Tony Robbins, Jim Rohn, Robert Kiyosaki, Amway training tapes..etc). That is what I do all the time when I’m driving for it. (My wife is pretty annoyed by it )
• Be grateful
• Mediate

Remember, garbage in, garbage out.

But if you put positive and self developing things into your head they will start taking roots sooner or later.

Whatever you feed your mind with is almost as important (if not more so) as what you put into your mouth.
