Wichita Falls Teachers Keeping Success Mindset Their Teaching Theme This School Year

Teachers from the Wichita Falls Independent School District started their first official work day of the new school year on Monday August 15^th. The day was celebrated with a rally where several presentations were held by teachers. One thing common throughout the presentations was the importance of creating a success mindset in the children.

They spoke about the importance of such a mindset and why it is necessary to cultivate and nurture it in our young ones if we want them to do well in school and make the best choices later on in life.

There were also interviews done with educators and other persons who were interested in ensuring that this school district does all it can to help the students succeed. Among the interviewees was Scot Green the Rider baseball coach and Ashton Gustafson a local real estate agent.

The messages were similar; just as a tree grows from the ground up and gets nutrients necessary for growth through its roots and foundation so should a child. The best possible way to do that is start them out early by teaching them to have a success mindset in order to become successful in life.

Just imagine how successful our country as a whole can be if all school districts across the nation adopted this mentality.
